As the Castle Connects initiative has been implemented, Castle Technology partners have continued working within the North Baldwin community. As it was covered on the local news about the donation to the Light of the City Summer Camp, Castle Connects takes a direct approach in empowering the community through technology.
CASTLE TECHNOLOGY DONATES LAPTOPS TO THE LIGHT OF THE CITY
As a leader in the Information Technology industry, Castle Technology Partners wanted to take a direct approach in ensuring that the children in the North Baldwin area have the resources they need to learn about the world of technology. In order to do this, Castle donated laptops to Light of the City Summer Camp in Bay Minette, AL.
Light of the City has approximately 119 kids registered for their 8-week summer remediation program. The laptops donated by Castle will allow the staff an opportunity to educate the campers throughout the summer. Castle also went a step further as to install enterprise endpoint security (anti-virus) and a patch/update management software to be monitored and keep the devices up to date and safe.
